How we fulfil orders Default Heart sells a mix of products. Some items are printed and fulfilled by third-party fulfilment partners — these are dispatched directly from their production facilities. Other items are fulfilled directly by us. The fulfilment method for your order will depend on the products you purchase.
Where third-party partners fulfil your order, we are subject to their production schedules, carrier selections, and operational capacity. While we work to ensure a smooth experience, some aspects of fulfilment are outside our direct control.
Processing time
- Third-party fulfilled items: Typically 2–5 business days production time before dispatch, depending on our partner's current workload. During peak periods this may be longer.
- Directly fulfilled items: Typically dispatched within 1–2 business days of payment confirmation.
If your order contains both types of products, items may arrive in separate shipments.

Delivery times are estimates from the date of dispatch and are not guaranteed. We are not liable for delays caused by production schedules, customs clearance, weather, or carrier issues outside our control.
Shipping costs Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your location and order contents. If your order is fulfilled in multiple shipments, you will not be charged additional shipping beyond what was shown at checkout.
Split shipments Orders containing both third-party fulfilled and directly fulfilled items may arrive separately and at different times. You will receive tracking information for each shipment where available.
Customs and import duties For orders delivered outside the UK, customs duties, import taxes, and handling fees may apply upon arrival. These charges are the responsibility of the recipient and are not included in our product prices or shipping charges. We recommend checking your local customs regulations before ordering.
Tracking Tracking information will be sent to you by email once each part of your order has been dispatched.
Lost, delayed or damaged orders If your order hasn't arrived within the estimated timeframe, or arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us at defaultheart@outlook.com with your order number and, where applicable, photographs of the issue. We will investigate promptly and liaise with our fulfilment partners where necessary to resolve the matter.
Cancellations If you need to cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible. Third-party fulfilled orders enter production quickly and may not be cancellable once production has begun. Please see our Return and Refund Policy for full details including your EU withdrawal rights.
